A very cost effective way of adding extra strength to your bottom end, without the cost of 4 bolt mains. Dyno tests have proven the cost effectiveness and added rigidity. Helps prevent dreaded cap walk in high horsepower applications. This girdle is my original design 9 bolt series, and includes both a spacer package and ARP main studs. ( please note that some applications require the 2 provided ARP main bolts to be used on the rear main cap for clearance issues)
Take a moment to view the last two pictures. This is a jr. fuel engine that lost a connecting rod. With my girdle installed, the damage was limited. The girdle contained the broken rotating rod.
